1. <span>Divide both sides by </span><span>5

4x - 1 = </span>\frac{80}{5}

2. Simplify \frac{80}{5} to 16

4x - 1 = 16

<span>3. Add 1</span><span> to both sides

4x = 16+1

4. </span><span>Simplify 16 + 1 to 17

4x = 17

5. Divide both sides by 4

5(4x-1) = 80

20x - 5 = 80

20x - 5 + 5 = 80 + 5

20x = 85

20x/20 = 85/20

X = 85/20

X = 17/4 if reduced to lowest terms by dividing both the top and bottom number by 5.

Find the angle between the vectors.<br> U=&lt; -4,-3&gt;<br> V = &lt; -1,5&gt;
kati45 [8]

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula for the angle between vectors

\alpha  =  \cos {}^{ - 1} ( \frac{uv}{ |u|  |v| } )

To multiply vectors, multiply the first component and multiply the second component and add them.

(-4*-1) + (-3*5)= 4-15=-11.

To find magnitude of vectors, use the Pythagorean theorem

u =  \sqrt{ { - 4}^{2} +  { - 3}^{2}  }  = 5

v =  \sqrt{ - 1 {}^{2}  + 5 {}^{2} }  =  \sqrt{26}

so

|u|  |v|  = 5 \sqrt{26}

Know we have,

\alpha  =  \cos {}^{ - 1} ( \frac{7}{5 \sqrt{26} } )

\alpha  = 105.94

in degrees,

\alpha  = 1.849

in radians
