What is 3 4/8-2 6/8= but in a fraction way

How I got it: So, 3 - 2 = 1.

And then you do 4/8 - 6/8, but you canot do that, so you take away 4/8 from 6/8, and then your left with zero left, but then you can go to the 1 whole and take away two from that and you get  6/8 ~ 3/4 simplified.

For 2 6/8 it is 22/8 and for 3 4/8 it is 28/8 and if you subtract them it would be 6/8
