Answer:

Homozygous.

Explanation:

A cell is said to be homozygote for a particular gene when similar allele of the gene are found on the same loci of both homologous chromosomes in the cell.

if two copies of a gene that codes for a particular trait is present in an individual, such that each time the copies of gene are fully expressed despite the presence of any other allele of the same gene, the expressed gene is said to be homozygote -dominant for that character, or trait.

Such dominant allele is usually represented in genetic diagram by upper case letter. Assuming the trait is white color the gene is represented with W., while the Genotype combination is represented as WW. since the two genes are present on both homologous chromosomes.

Therefore, if each time the homozygous dominant gene is crossed with another allele for the same traits, and the dominant allele always express from generation to generation, then the homozygous dominant allele is said to always breed-true.

The homozygous gene that can not express itself in the presence of dominant gene, but only does so in its absence , that is only when in presence of similar allele is said to be Homozygous- recessive for that gene. The gene is usually represented by Lower case, e.g w and the genotypic combinations by double lower case ww.

Question was't arranged i have arranged it in ask for detail section.

Answer:

Option e. homozygous is the correct answer.

Explanation:

A gene which has two identical alleles on homologous chromosomes is called homozygous. It is denoted by XX (capital letters) for dominant character (alleles) and xx (lowercase letters) for recessive character (alleles).

You assay cell surface oligosaccharides from a blood sample. After determining the composition of the oligosaccharides relative
RSB [31]

Answer:

Here the fucose is linked to galactose by alpha1,2 glycosidic linkage.

Explanation:

Fucose is a deoxy sugar consist of 6 carbon atoms which means fucose is a hexose sugar.

Fucose does not contain -OH group at C6 carbon that"s why it is termed as deoxy sugar.

Fucose can link to both Nactylglucosame by alpha-1,6 glycosidic linkage and to galactose by alpha-1, glycosidic linkage generates the H antigen.

As donor is blood type B that means fucose is linked to galactoseof H antigen by alpha 1,2glycisidic linkage.

In proteins, secondary, tertiary, and quaternary levels of structure depend on the primary structure.
Fittoniya [83]

Answer:b. Amino acid sequence, hydrogen bonding between backbone groups, the overall shape of a single polypeptide, and combinations of tertiary structures.

Explanation: Primary structure is the amino acid sequence in the polypeptide chain. When the sequence is altered due to mutation it can lead to formation of entirely new amino acid sequence.

Secondary structure could be the helical structure or the Beta pleated sheet. It is form from the interaction of atom that are backbones. It is the hydrogen bond between amino Hydrogen and carboxyl oxygen atom in the backbones

Tertiary structure- Overall structure of polypeptide. It result from interaction of the R groups amino acids. It gives the shape of the polypeptide.

Quantenary- Are protein made up of multiple polypeptide chain. This chain are also called subunit. It is the combination of all tertiary structures given rise to a functional protein.
