Overgrazing is a repeated heavy grazing over several years, it is have result in deterioration of the plant community and it occurs when the plants are unprotected to intensive grazing for extended periods of time  Overgrazing also occurs when too much green material is repeatedly removed from a plant and it cannot regrow.

Afro-eurasian lands is landmass which consists Africa continents and Eurasia continents as shown in the green part below.

Overgrazing led to the erosion of grasslands.  Because it typically increases soil erosion and it is one of the causes for erosion. Overgrazing reduces the usefulness and the productivity of the land because the livestock press the subsoil into fine soil which can be carried easily by wind and water. This phenomenon of reduced soil depth, soil organic matter, and soil fertility can affects the land's future productivity.

Erosion itself is the phenomenon in which the soil and rock particles are worn away and moved anywhere by gravity, or by a wind or water
