Which best states the central idea of the text? From "Address to the Legislature of New York”
Trava [24]

Answer:

The central idea of the text is that married women should have the same rights as married men in relation to property ownership.

Explanation:

"Address to the Legislature of New York" is a text that questions the government's position to prevent married women from having property rights and the design of valuable and property-related assets. The text does not approve of these rights being limited to married men, preventing women from being able to participate in the acquisition and transmission of goods in the same way as men. For this reason, the text positions itself in favor of women and their inclusion in property and property rights, as a form of protection and justice .

What does this mean?
Free_Kalibri [48]
I'm not sure but I think this is what it means:

When [we] ran in, [we] saw the squadron waiting. This means they ran in wherever they were running in and saw a group of military soldiers that were lined up in a military formation, called a squadron. They saw their friends waiting for them, troubled, looking out at the sea. They beached, or laid the ship (her) ashore and grounded her/the ship to shallow water in the sand. Then they got of the ship and waded through the water onto the sandy beach.

I hope I helped! Again I'm not sure if I am correct but I hope I helped you somewhat.
