Which is most important for achieving excellence: natural ability, hard work, or

English
1 answer:
patriot [66]3 years ago
4 0

Answer:

While natural ability is certainly an advantage, hard work is crucial for achieving excellence in majority of the cases. For instance, if one wants to learn a foreign language, the fact that he/she has a natural gift for languages does not ensure excellence. It is only through practice and hard work that he/she will gain more knowledge. The mistake that people often make is that they rely on their "gifts" for certain disciplines and refuse to put some effort into improving their skills. This does more harm than good, as they gradually see no progress in what they do. After all, no one is born as an expert of any field. It is, therefore, the best option for a person to be both gifted for what he/she does, and to be ready to work hard to become even better.

Tough conversations often make people feel(6) uncomfortable, as if they are being attacked. One way to make a conversation feel like less of an attack is how you(7) refine your own sentences.

The way of refining your own sentences and making new ones is an psychological approach. These sentences ate called "I- sentences" which usually involves how you feel followed by the action.

Focusing on the impacts of someone's behavior instead of(8) the action can soften the tone of a tough conversation.

Offering choices can help the conversation end with an agreement rather than an(9) argument.

Pausing to calm down, take a walk or sleep on it can be better than (10)getting angry and leaving everyone frustrated.
