lisov135 [29]

Why am I sending this message?

What do I hope to achieve by sending this message?

Explanation:

First and foremost, to define the intent to which the letter is sent prior to writing the business message.

Good writing allows the author to carefully think about the intent of writing, to prepare what he can say, to plan how he can communicate and to consider what the reader needs to know. It also involves reviewing and revising strategies and documents to enhance them.

Editing is an examination of a text to correct any errors. These errors could be as simple as orthography or grammar errors, or as complicated as your written flow and clarity. Many authors find the editing checklist useful when their own work is corrected.

Why might these sources of individual values not prove very helpful when making complex business decisions
Blababa [14]

Answer:

The first part of the question is missing:

"We all learn values from sources such as family, religion, and school. Why might these..."

To be honest, most of the time business decisions are not clean cut ethical or unethical, even if you are not doing anything wrong or illegal. When you are doing business you will try to make the largest possible profit and money doesn't just appear from no where, if you earn money, you will be taking it away from someone else. In the best case scenario, you will be giving that customer a higher perceived value than the cost of your product or service, so everyone wins.

But many times, not everyone wins. E.g. you manage a construction company and you will bid for a project, hopefully you will win and make money, but others will lose. Empathy is good for marketing, but very bad for finances.

When thousands of jobs are replaced not by Chinese workers, but instead by computers and robots, it's just bad luck for the unemployed. When large stores like Sears go bankrupt while Amazon surges, good for Amazon, bad for Sears.

The company must have absolute advantage.

Having been in business for a while, Landfall Service is a provider of outdoor furniture. Greater than any other company in the country, it is renowned for its capacity to make furniture quickly. The truth is that no rival businesses exist in any other country. Many of the items offered by Landfall Service have been exported. Actually, sales outside of the United States account for 80% of company income. In order to support domestic businesses, the Italian government has slapped a tax on imported furniture. On the other hand, because the government wanted a piece of the action, the Brazilian government levied taxes on Landfall Service items.

Which of the following would make it easier to maintain an effective collusive agreement in a cartel?
GalinKa [24]

Answer:

A decrease in the elasticity of demand for the cartel's product.

Explanation:

The cartel is under the control of companies operating in the same area. This is undesirable. It is concluded between businesses and these contracts prevent competition. Such arrangements are also prevented by governments, which aims to promote competition among governments across the country. This type of arrangement creates unity and demonstrates business behavior in activities that prevent other competitors from entering the sector.

Adverse effects on consumers include:

1) Higher prices - cartel members can raise prices, which reduces the demand elasticity of any member.

2) Lack of Transparency - Members may agree to hide prices or hide information such as hidden charges in credit card transactions.

3) Limited production - Members may agree to limit market production, such as OPEC and oil quotas.

4) Build Market - Cartel members can collectively divide a market into regions or regions and not compete in each other's territory.

SashulF [63]

Answer:

The correct answer is letter "A": geographic characteristics.

Explanation:

Market segmentation refers to the classification companies make of their consumers based on different features such as age, gender, or income for instance so that firms can decide in which of those sectors they are likely to have more success based on the know-how and resources it counts on. As well, companies consider the sector that provides more opportunities so the likelihood of generating more revenue increases.

Therefore, Universal Concerts must focus on geographic characteristics at the moment of choosing what type of concerts they will handle if there is a need to set one type of them only.
