The correct answer is D) a giant growling dog runs out to meet an unsuspecting jogger.

<em>The scenario that is the best example of tension is a giant growling dog runs out to mee tan unsuspecting jogger. </em>

Tension is the feeling of anxiousness in the people that do not know what will happen and do not know how to react in a determined moment.

In this case, the scenario that best creates a moment of tension is a giant growling dog runs out to meet an unsuspecting jogger. This moment generates a lot of tension because the jogger is calmly enjoying his jogging and all of a sudden, a big dog appears in front of him, growling. The immediate jogger’s reaction is fear or at least nervousness because of the uncertainty of the moment.

Read the cover letter below and answer the question that follows.
Nitella [24]

Answer:

It sounds too casual

Explanation:

It can be made more effective by adding a more professional tone and add more specific details about themselves or there past experience working which would hopefully encourage the reader to invite her to an interview. There is also currently punctuation and spelling errors in her letter which won't look good to a possible future employer.

Read the excerpt from the foreword of a book by Harvey Johnson.
aliina [53]

Answer:

A. They describe the attributes of Caldwell, Colorado.

Explanation:

Now, first thing to distinguish here is that we need to analyze only this excerpt and its content.

We see that the book itself is about history of Caldwell, however the excerpt doesn't deal with that.

It only shows the town's location, river passing by and rich plant and wildlife.

From that, it can be inferred that Caldwell is a town with beautifull surrounding and natural attributes.
