Amongst the other English colonies, Penn was the first leader of his colony that established peace with the natives. Then Penn made a peace treaty with the Leni lenape indians, and bought land from them. He hadn't needed to, but did anyways, and it was this act, as well as other kind acts towards the natives that formed peace between them. This also ensured a prosperous beginning for the new settlers of Pennsylvania, as the natives helped them with their crops, learning the way of the land and many such other useful things. Neither did they have wars that hurt the population
