Answer:

Volume = \frac{1}{8} cubic units.

Step-by-step explanation:

The volume of a rectangular prism is given by,

V =  (\textrm {Length}) \times (\textrm {Width}) \times (\textrm {Height})  .......... (1) and

V = (\textrm {Base Area})\times (\textrm {Height}) .......... (2)

Now, the length of the given prism is \frac{1}{2} units, width is \frac{1}{2} units and the height is \frac{1}{2} units.

So. from equation (1) the volume, V = (\frac{1}{2}) \times (\frac{1}{2}) \times (\frac{1}{2}) = \frac{1}{8} cubic units.

Now, base area = B = (\frac{1}{2}) \times (\frac{1}{2}) = \frac{1}{4} sq. units.

So, from equation (2) we get

V = (\frac{1}{4}) \times (\frac{1}{2}) = \frac{1}{8} cubic units. (Answer)

An equation is shown. 2x-4y=8 solve the equation for x in terms of y
horrorfan [7]
2x-4y=8

Add 4y to each side to separate the variables, since you want to solve for x let be on the left

2x=4y+8

Divide the entire equation by 2 to allow x to stand alone

x=2y+4

And I have to type some more so it will let me answer the question so here ya go

How do i rearrange f-ex=g-hx to get x?
Alborosie

Answer:

x = \frac{g-f}{h-e}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

f - ex = g - hx

Collect the terms in x on the left side by adding hx to both sides

hx - ex + f = g ( subtract f from both sides )

hx - ex = g - f ← factor out x on the left side

x(h - e) = g - f ← divide both sides by (h - e)

x = \frac{g-f}{h-e}

2/3 of a number is 11 work out half the number
Ugo [173]

Answer:

33/4

Step-by-step explanation:

Let n = number

2/3 * n = 11

Multiply each side by 3/2

3/2 * 2/3 n = 11 * 3/2

n = 33/2

We want to find 1/2 of n

1/2 * 33/2 = 33/4
