What did the hundred years' war lead to in Europe and France
Kisachek [45]

The Hundred Years War inflicted untold misery on France. Farmlands were laid waste, the population was decimated by war, famine, and the Black Death, and marauders terrorized the countryside. Civil wars and local wars increased the destruction and the social disintegration. Yet the successor of Charles VII, Louis XI, benefited from these evils. The virtual destruction of the feudal nobility enabled him to unite France more solidly under the royal authority and to promote and ally with the middle class. From the ruins of the war an entirely new France emerged. For England, the results of the war were equally decisive; it ceased to be a continental power and increasingly sought expansion as a naval power.

OlgaM077 [116]

Structure of social classes in France lead to discontent:

Because the third estate was the group which paid the most taxes. Furthermore, due to the fact the estates-general gave each state a vote, the third estate being the odd one out could never get enough voting power to do anything.

The first class was clergy, the second was the nobles, and the third was the peasants and commoners. The third class were playing all the taxes and worked for the first two classes. The third class also had the least power and could not be accepted in the first two classes. In the system, most of the rights and privileges were given to the classes. It was the ultimate system of control for medieval society.

Kelsey and Cody want new living room furniture. They see a flyer in Sunday’s newspaper for XYZ, offering free money for 24 month
Roman55 [17]

Whether they are eligible for the promotion or not depends exclusively on the payment terms they accept at the moment of acquiring the products. First of all, these promotions normally apply if the customer makes the purchase with a credit card. Secondly, if the customer accepts to pay the total amount in installments equal to 24 months or more, then they will be eligible for the free money promotion. However, the amount of interest paid at the end of this period will be higher in comparison to the amount that would have been paid if they paid it in a smaller period of time.

Oxana [17]

Suppose you find yourself alone in a very dangerous neighbourhood late at night. according to the idea of the , you will most likely rely on your automatic mind.

The "Duplex Mind," or dual process theory, proposes that there are two basic categories of cognitive processes: type processes operate automatically and involuntarily, independently of conscious processes, and are quick and effortless; whereas type processes do not operate automatically, are linked to conscious awareness and control, and are relatively slow and laborious. Many people believe that William James is the origin of these theories of human cognition. According to this article, David Hume's writings from more than 150 years ago already had a complete dual process theory. The Scottish Enlightenment's subsequent work on ethical, social, political, and historical theory was built on Hume's originality.
