Answer:

Chinatown

Explanation:

An ethnic enclave is a term used in sociology that describes an area with a high concentration of people from a different ethnicity to that of the home country. An example would be a "Chinatown" located outside of China. This is an area where many Chinese immigrants and citizens of Chinese heritage live. These develop because of the social and economic advantages for immigrants of settling in areas where a large immigrant population can already be found.

How was the War of 1812 an accidental
war? Please explain!
Simora [160]

Answer:

Explanation:

The British people had grown weary of the effort and cost of their twenty-year war against France, and the War of 1812 came to an end as a result. The minor war has ended now that Napoleon has been almost completely defeated. The War of 1812 was a watershed moment in American history. America won worldwide recognition as a result of its ability to bring the world's most powerful military force to a halt. It also instilled in its people a stronger sense of nationalism. In North America, opposition to the United States has waned. Hull's occupying army launched an assault on a British picket, which was forced to retreat to Amherstburg. Two British troops were inadvertently abandoned. They held their ground until they were apprehended. Private Hancock, one of them, died of his wounds later that evening, becoming the war's first British casualty.

How did US annexation of West Florida impact Louisiana?
pishuonlain [190]

Answer:

The US annexation of impacted Louisiana as it created disputes between the two territories over land and political boundaries. (C)

Explanation:

US gained control over the commerce over Mississippi river by acquiring Louisiana from France. James Madison, the then president, further went to expand America’s boundaries and wanted to acquire west Florida for this.

From time to time, the powers of Louisiana have passed over in different hands (France, US and Spain). Because of uncertainties in geographical and territorial boundaries in Louisiana, the US claimed the Missouri river, Gulf coast and Mississippi river in its interest.

After Louisiana Purchase treaty, US also claimed that West Florida was under this treaty. Spain denied this Claim. USA was also intruding in Louisiana which was unacceptable to Creole residents. All these caused problems in Louisiana.
