You can make an equation for this (x is the number of student tickets)
x + (x + 65) = 635 \\ 2 x + 65 = 635 \\ 2x = 635 - 65 \\ 2x = 570
x =  \frac{570}{2}  = 285
the number of student tickets is 285

the number of adult tickets is 285+65=350

good luck

Aleks04 [339]

Answer:

13 bags

Step-by-step explanation:

1: If he has 6 3/4 lbs to start with, this is 6.75 lbs, as 3/4 = 0.75.

2: He wants the new bags to be 1/2 lb, which is 0.5 lbs.

3: If we divide 6.75 by 0.5, we get the exact number of bags he could have - 13.5.

4: However, the bags must be full, so we have to disregard that extra 0.5 bags, and say he can completely fill 13 bags.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions :)
