<u>Nonfiction</u> content is the one whose creator assumes full responsibility for the accuracy or truth of the events or information presented.
A sitcom on television is the option that cannot be considered an example of nonfiction.
On the other hand, these are all examples on nonfiction:
- a speech during the Academy Awards;
- a magazine containing beauty tips;
- a lecture by your instructor.
The story “Harrison Bergeron” By Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. tells about the year 2081. During this period many amendments were made by the constitution to demolish inequality among the US citizens. The efforts were not made to empower and raise the standards of the handicapped. Instead methods were adopted to penalize people who were gifted with superior intellect, physical beauty or strength. The normal height, weight, appearance, intelligence and strength were decided considering the handicaps and the disabled people so as to equalize the society.
People with beautiful faces were asked to wear masks to hide themselves, intelligent people were forced to wear headsets that disturbed their brains and nerves with loud noises and annoying sounds. People with good physical body have to carry sacks of birdshots so as to weigh down. This was the way which the Americans adopted to maintain the equality among themselves.

In the poem "On Turning Ten", the year-old speaker, sheds his thoughts on the realization that he is no longer a youngling. This particular poem is very melancholic which is a contrast to the usual humor of Billy Collin's poetry.

Billy Collin in this poem digs deep into the childhood memories of a 10-year-old, who remember the bliss and magic of childhood and contrasts that with the paid of life that he is now becoming aware of.
Although the adult to whom he speaks reassures him that he still has a lot of years to enjoy his childhood, the melancholic speaker indicates that it is impossible because he now sees the world from a different perspective.
