Soon, Mycenae incorporated local and small city-states into its civilization, such as Tiryns, Pylos, Thebes, and Orchomenos. These city-states paid taxes to the Mycenaean rulers, pledged their allegiance to Mycenae, and provided soldiers in times of battle. Around this time, the first great palaces of the city were constructed. Due to its position in the Mediterranean, Mycenae became a central port of trade and economic growth flourished. It soon rivaled Knossos as a central power, both economically and militarily. The general consensus is that the Mycenaean civilization reached its pinnacle of power around 1400 B.C.E. This period is generally referred to as Late Helladic IIIA-IIIB.

miskamm [114]

Answer:

Betty is using neutralizing definitions.

Explanation:

In general terms, neutralizing can be described as an act of counterbalancing a situation by applying an opposite action or effect.

In social life, it can also be described as taking a revenge from somebody as in such scenarios the act of one person will be neutralized if he is avenged for his act.

The same phenomenon was applied by Betty for providing justification to her mom. She neutralizes the act of bullying by Ben by beating him.

Nikitich [7]

I believe the answer is: children actively construct knowledge as they manipulate and explore their world.

During their development process, children would create a subjective framework on how the environment around the operates. At first, they would do that by using all of their sense to familiarize themselves with anything around them (you can see this when they put basically anything in their mouths, actively running and touching different objects, etc)
