Similar triangles have proportional corresponding sides and congruent corresponding angles.

For similar triangles we write

ΔGHI ~ ΔJKL

In these similarity expressions, the order of the vertices is meaningful.  Here it tells us that G and J are corresponding vertices, as are H and K, as well as I and L.   So ∠G≅∠J, ∠H≅∠K and ∠I≅∠L.
