Flowers are the reproductive parts of most of the plants. There are two types of flowers based on reproduction. These are bisexual and unisexual flowers.

*A unisexual flower either contains only stamens which is called as male flower or it contains only pistil which is then called as female flower.e.g.Papaya.

Hence, papaya plant bearing male flowers will not have any fruits.

Which of the following adaptations will probably develop most rapidly?
Paraphin [41]

Answer:

Mimicry

Explanation:

In mimicry, species evolve to resemble other species; in Müllerian mimicry this is a mutually beneficial co-evolution as each of a group of strongly defended species (such as wasps able to sting) come to advertise their defences in the same way. Features evolved for one purpose may be co-opted for a different one, as when the insulating feathers of dinosaurs were co-opted for bird flight.

Adaptation is related to biological fitness, which governs the rate of evolution as measured by change in gene frequencies. Often, two or more species co-adapt and co-evolve as they develop adaptations that interlock with those of the other species, such as with flowering plants and pollinating insects.

What do you think would
happen if the cell wall
were not functioning?
patriot [66]

Answer:

The cell wall provides the cell with protection from all the unfavorable conditions. ... Without the cell wall, the plant cell will collapse. Uptake of nutrients would be tough and the cell would be without any protection. Hence the plant would eventually die.

Based on this information, how is the ath operon most likely controlled
grin007 [14]
Digestion of the sugar athelose in this theoretical framework is controlled by an operon that displays both positive control and negative control. Translation of the ath operon is turned on when athelose is available, and accelerated when the bacterium comes up short on glucose and must depend on athelose for vitality.
