Answer:

The first Battle of Bull Run was the second battle of the civil war and the battle after the attack on Fort Sumter.

Explanation:

After the victory of the attack on Fort Sumter, the General Winfield Scott wanted to wait a while before the next battle, but his own troops were anxious to attack immediately due to the rebel attacks in South Carolina.

They forced the general to think that they were ready to attack. Remarkably, they actually defeated the rebels. Winfield Scott wrote earnestly how his troops annihilated the rebels that attacked Fort Sumter.

How do you think this resolution influenced later u.s. policy in southeast asia? gulf of tonkin resolution?
Dimas [21]
It was August 7, 1964 when the Gulf of Tunkin Resolution passed by the US Congress right after the alleged attack on two US naval destroyers stationed off the coast of Vietnam. The Gulf of Tonkin Resolution viably propelled America's full-scale inclusion in the Vietnam War. Though there is no formal declaration of war, this also gave President Johnson approval "to take all necessary steps, including the use of armed force, to assist any member or protocol state of the Southeast Asia Collective Defense Treaty requesting assistance in defense of its freedom." This has been used by Johnson and Pres. Richard Nixon as a justification for escalated involvement in Indochina.
