Seeds perform various functions for the plants that generate them, among them the essential function is dispersal to a new location, nourishment of the embryo, and dormancy at the time of inappropriate conditions.

Seed coat is the part of the seed that protects the seed from temperature-associated, physical, or water destruction, it helps in the protection of developing embryo, and it is the seed coat, which makes sure that the plant seed remains in a dormant state until the circumstances become ideal for the plant embryo to sprout or germinate.

What three structures, in order, are involved of the production of mature sperm?
34kurt

Answer:

The three anatomical structures that, in order, contribute to the production of mature sperm are the epididymis, seminal vesicle and prostate.

Explanation:

The sperm and the first seminal fluid are produced and found initially in the seminiferous tubules of each testicle. From there they move on to several structures that contribute to the maturation process:

 1. Each seminiferous tubule drives the sperm to the epididymis, through the vas deferens, where the sperm can be for a long time and complete their maturation process.
 2. From the epididymis, the sperm pass to the seminal vesicle, which produces more seminal fluid to give nutrients to the sperm and facilitate its movement.
 3. Finally, and before being expelled outside, the seminal fluid receives the prostatic secretion in the prostatic urethra, a viscous and whitish liquid that completes the seminal fluid content.

The process of maturation of sperm is of importance for the process of sexual reproduction.
