A real world problem is considered a problem that can either be A: Solved in any method. B:has words and numbers So you would write for instant Charlie went to the store he bought 7 items that costed 21.99 how much money does he have left after spending it on the items? Can you solve it no you cannot why? Because it doesnt have the amount of money he was allowed to spend thats what missing information is. Now extra information is when there is something in the problem you DO NOT NEED to solve. Hope that helps you out.

2LW:

5 x 1 = 5

5 x 2 = 10

------------------------------------------------

2LH:

4 x 1 = 4

4 x 2 = 8

------------------------------------------------

2WH:

5 x 4 = 20

20 x 2 = 40

------------------------------------------------

Surface Area:

40 + 8 + 10= 58

Determine if AB¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ and CD¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ are parallel, perpendicular, or neither. Given: A (−1, 3), B (0, 5), C (2, 1), D (6, −1)
dolphi86 [110]

Answer:

perpendicular

Step-by-step explanation:

To determine if AB and CD are parallel, perpendicular, or neither, we need to get the slope of AB and CD first

Given A (−1, 3), B (0, 5),

Slope Mab = 5-3/0-(-1)

Mab = 2/1

Mab = 2

Slope of AB is 2

Given C (2, 1), D (6, −1)

Slope Mcd = -1-1/6-2

Mcd = -2/4

Mcd = -1/2

Slope of CD is -1/2

Take their product

Mab * Mcd = 2 * -1/2

Mab * Mcd = -1

Since the product of their slope is -1, hence AB and CD are perpendicular

The pizza shop owner tells Mr. Lopez that 3 jumbo cookies can feed 10 students.
givi [52]

Answer:

j(x) = [ (3/10) cookie/student ]x

Step-by-step explanation:

The "unit rate" here is

3 jumbo cookies

------------------------- = (3/10) cookie/student

       10 students

Then the number of cookies needed to feed x students is

j(x) = [ (3/10) cookie/student ]x
