Answer:

The punnet square is shown below:

Explanation:

      dr            dr           dr           dr

DR  DdRr  DdRr  DdRr  DdRr

DR  DdRr  DdRr  DdRr  DdRr

DR  DdRr  DdRr  DdRr  DdRr

DR  DdRr  DdRr  DdRr  DdRr

  • The punnet square is used to find or predict the genotype of any experimental breeding.
  • This shows the cross between homozygous dominant parent (DDRR)  and homozygous recessive parent (ddrr).
  • The phenotype of offspring will be tall and purple flower.
  • For both traits the off spring will be heterozygous (DdWw).

Why do paleontologist study fossils ?
Stells [14]

Answer:

Paleontologists study fossils so that we can understand the evolution's from past species to the current ones. It also opens a window to discovering exactly how long earth has been around by finding out the age of the fossil itself. Though paleontology has been in the decline recently, and i'm sure we haven't found out all we need to know from these fossils.

Step 1: drag the lac promoter to the stretch of dna. do not drag the lacz gene to the dna. what happens? why is this?
Marat540 [252]

RNA polymerase binds to the lac promoter and begins transcribing the stretch of DNA to messenger RNA. Therefore, in other words, the stretch of DNA is expressed. The DNA sequence of the lac promoter 'signals' where the RNA polymerase will bind and where transcription will begin. Promoters are found upstream of a gene to be transcribed.
