Answer is: two samples have in common same amount of substance and same number of particles.
1) There are same amount of substance in both beakers:
n(Zn) = 1 mol.
n(ZnCl₂) = 1 mol.
2) There are same number of particles (atoms, molecules, ions) in both beakers:
N(Zn) = n(Zn) · Na.
N(Zn) = 1 mol · 6.023·10²³ 1/mol = 6.023·10²³ atoms of zinc.
N(ZnCl₂) = n(ZnCl₂) · Na.
N(ZnCl₂) = 1 mol · 6.023·10²³ 1/mol = 6.023·10²³ molecules of zinc(II) chloride.
Na - Avogadro number.

Answer:

Beaker-1 has same number of zinc atoms as that of the zinc ions in beaker-2.

Explanation:

In beaker-1 , we have added 1 mol of zinc granules.

1 mol = 6.022\times 10^{23} atoms

In beaker-1 6.022\times 10^{23} atoms of zinc are present.

In beaker-2, we have added 1 mole of zinc chloride.

ZnCl_2(aq)\rightarrow Zn^{2+}(aq)+2Cl^-(aq)

1 mole of zinc chloride gives 1 mole of zinc chloride gives one mole of zinc ions and 2 moles of chloride ions.

1 mol of Zinc ion = 6.022\times 10^{23} ions

The both samples have:

6.022\times 10^{23} zinc atoms = 6.022\times 10^{23} zinc ions

Beaker-1 has same number of zinc atoms as that of the zinc ions in beaker-2.

Which explains how burning a magnesium ribbon highlights a toolmark?
Setler [38]

Answer:

The magnesium ribbon, D. It forms a material to cast the tool mark.

Explanation:

When a magnesium ribbon is burnt in the presence of oxygen it gives out strong light and heat is produced. Apart from it, it leads to the production of substance called as magnesium oxide which is formed as the product due to the reaction of magnesium with the oxygen present in the air.

Tool marks are the mark which is created by tools while using them. In order to identify or locate them castes made up of magnesium oxide is utilized. When this is pasted on the suspected area, the tool mark of the suspected tool gets pasted on it.

Rubidium Rb
Fantom [35]

Answer:

 • Rubidium Rb was discovered in 1861
 • It was discovered by the German chemist Robert Wilhelm Bunsen and the German physicist Gustav-Robert Kirchoff

Explanation:

Rubidium was discovered by the German chemists Robert Bunsen and Gustav Kirchhoff in 1861 while analyzing samples of the mineral lepidolite with a device called a spectroscope. The sample produced a set of deep red spectral lines they had never seen before. Bunsen was eventually able to isolate samples of rubidium metal. Today, most rubidium is obtained as a byproduct of refining lithium.

What is the first step to determine the sequence of filling electron configurations of an element?
faust18 [17]
Basically, the arrangement of electrons in electronic configuration follows three principles:

1. Aufbau Principle
You start from the highest energy level to the lowest. The arrangement is: 1s<2s<2p<3s<3p<4s<3d<4p<5s<4d<5p<6s<4f<5d<6p<7s<5f<6d<7p.

2. Hund's Rule
Each box in the configuration can hold up to 2 electrons. This rule tells you to fill all boxes of one particular subshell with 1 electron first, before double occupying them.

3. Pauli's Exclusion Principle
This rule tells you that the two electrons in a box shall always have opposite spins, represented by one half-arrow up and one half-arrow down.
