Besides geography, the major issue that would have made this impossible is that each "country" or state in South America was dominated by a different ruler, many of whom had fought of the Spanish--meaning that they would have never united under one title. Their cultures were also wildly different.
Isolationism
because they are isolating themselves from the rest of the world. they wanted to focus on protecting themselves from the north so a takeover from the Mongols would never happen again. thus they stopped making ships and cut themselves off from everyone else.
<span>The Russian Revolution continued even after the communist program was launched because the Reds and Whites had fought such a bloody civil war. The Reds were supporters of Bolsheviks, or members of the Soviet Republic's Red Army. The Whites were those that opposed Bolshevik military force.</span>
The 1846 Oregon Treaty established the border between British North America and the United States along the 49th parallel until the Strait of Georgia, where the marine boundary curved south to exclude Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands from the United States
