The most likely answer to this is it depends. When the things that you do involves the environment or basically having a place just to do the things that you do simply because they can't be done just anywhere, then basically it external changes certainly will have effect. When the things that you do can be done anywhere, external changes vary from a direct effect to the things that you do personally to indirect. Some factors have to be taken into account as to what are the things that you do personally. An example would be writing poems. You can do it anywhere but where you do it affects your way of thinking and as a result, the outcome of your poem might be different when done somewhere else.
