It has been found that the rainforests are accountable for about one-third, that is, 28 percent of the oxygen of the Earth, however, the majority of the oxygen, that is, about 70 percent in the atmosphere is generated by the marine plants. The left-over two percent of the oxygen comes from other sources.

The majority of the oxygen comes from the tiny plants in the ocean known as phytoplankton, which lives near the surface of the water and drifts with the currents. Similarly to plants, they perform the process of photosynthesis, that is, they utilize carbon dioxide and sunlight to prepare food, oxygen is the by-product of photosynthesis.

However, the concentration of the dissolved oxygen, which the water can hold relies on the salinity and temperature of the water. The cold water can withhold more oxygen in comparison to warm water and fresh water can hold more oxygen in comparison to salt water. So, the warmer and saltier the water is, the less will be the oxygen dissolved in it.

Katarina [22]

The best explanation for this is 2.When looking atypBT and ASPM, some individuals counted as parental are actually double recombinant

The sum of the two intervening distances is larger than the distance between the outside genes DBT and ASPM (less than 33 map units). Why? because not all of the recombination events (double crossovers) are taken into account by the calculated distance between DBT and ASPM.

Thus, the map distance would have been greater if there were more double recombinants. Again, the map distance would decrease if the number of parents was higher. The map distance is lower here than anticipated. This indicates that the number of parents is higher than it ought to be.

Therefore, the best choice is 2.

(complete question)

You are measuring recombination between three genes: DBT, MEN2 and ASPM. The recombination fraction between the DBT and MFN2 is 15% and between MFN2 and ASPM is 18%: However, the recombination fraction between DBT and ASPM is slightly smaller than, but close to, 33%. What is the best explanation for this?

 1. One of these genes may be on different chromosomes than the other two but this fact is masked because of double recombinants
 2. When looking atypBT and ASPM, some individuals counted as parental are actually double recombinant
 3. When looking at DBT and ASPM, some individuals counted as double recombinants are actually parental
 4. DBT and ASPM actually assort independently

The nurse should assess the four-hour-old neonate with jaundice. When jaundice occurs within the first 24 hours of life, it typically indicates a life-threatening disorder, such as sepsis, hemolytic disease of the neonate, Rh incompatibility, or ABO incompatibility. Physiological jaundice, which commonly occurs later, is a benign condition. A 2-day-old term neonate in an open bassinette doesn't require immediate assessment by the nurse. A 6-day-old neonate whose gestational age is 36 weeks is a normal preterm neonate who doesn't require immediate assessment by the nurse.s appropriate for the neonate. Explanation: The correct size covers the nose but not the eyes. The mask is too large if it covers the neonate’s eyes. Masks that are too small may pinch the nose.

List the steps of dna replication in order
valina [46]
Initiation: Replication begins at a specific location called as OriC, at which some initiator protein bind and cause unwinding
Elongation: New DNA stand grows, one base pair at a time.
Termination: The two new double helices replace the older ones and the last primer strand is removed, followed by proofreading.
