Answer: 8 - 10 per second

Explanation: The visual attention task consists of cognitive operations, that is, observations by which to separate relevant information, in this case the target letters, from irrelevant ones which are therefore irrelevant. It is therefore a set of information, where together they are both relevant and irrelevant, packed to represent the visual scene as a whole, from which only those information we need need to be filtered.

Given that in this case the relevant information / target letters are clearly visible, with a high contrast to the non-target letters, and that the target letters are always in the same place on the screen, the possibility of perception is greater than would be the case if the target letters were not accentuated the way here they are. All this makes it possible to select priorities, i.e the desired information / target letters and to process only such stimuli by looking only at a specific part of the screen. This increases contrast sensitivity because they are high contrast target letters, and by looking at a specific part of the screen where Alexis expects the target letters, to focus only on the contrast. This shortens the reaction time when Alexis sees the target letter, so there are more processed potential target letters that Alexis can process than usual.

During this period, the individual is completely focused, placing erring attention on what is at hand. There whole energy, attention, focus and mind is concentrated on the task and are only aware of the narrow range of perception related to the task at hand. They are totally absorbed absorbed by the task and unable to keep track of anything else aside their current involvement.

Sociology can be approached from both a microsociological and a macrosociological perspective. Which is more useful?
Nookie1986 [14]

The macrosociological viewpoint is more beneficial since it describes how massive social institutions affect people on a personal level.

When comparing the two, the main distinction is that while macro sociology focuses on larger social systems and structures, micro sociology deals with smaller-scale human interactions.

What is a macrosociological perspective?

Macro sociologists concentrate on the overall situation, which often includes social structure, social institutions, and social, political, and economic change. They examine the expansive social dynamics that impact people's lives and the development of human society.

fenix001 [56]

Answer:

Validity

Explanation:

In this example, Dr. Rodriguez is concerned about the scale's validity. Validity refers to the extent to which a measurement accurately corresponds with the real world. It particularly refers to whether this measurement does indeed measure what it intends to. In this example, this is what Dr. Rodriguez is concerned about, as she wanted her scale to measure narcissism and not another related concept.
