Hello there! How are you doing? I'll answer the question now.

I would definitely say that college education is worth the cost because you can do so much with a degree, and you are also able to enroll for scholarships to help pay off the debt you have. College is a great experience, although it can be challenging and hard, to get through it is an amazing task, and only the greatest of the great will get there. I know you have it in you. Go for it!

Hope this helped! Your welcome! I can help with other stuff too! Bye!

If you don’t know what you want to do going into collage I wouldn’t go because you’d be wasting your money. A lot of people who go to collage don’t even end up using their credits. So unless you have a plan of what you want to do, I think it’s a wast of money‍♀️

Today, there is approximately 2,200 blue whales in the eastern North
Naya [18.7K]

The problem with this sentence is that there is no subject-verb agreement.

What is subject-verb agreement?

The subject-verb agreement implies the verb should agree with the subject on the number (singular vs plural). Here are some examples.

 • The girls are brave (both the subject and theverb are plural).
 • The girl is brave (both the subject and the verb are singular).

What is the problem in the sentence presented?

The sentence about whales does not show the subject-verb agreement. This is because in the section there is approximately 2,200 blue whales the author is using a singular verb is to refer to a plural subject 2,200 blue whales.

Note: This question is incomplete; here is the complete question:

What's wrong with this sentence: "Today there is approximately 2,200 blue whales in the eastern North Pacific and research indicates that the population hasn't changed significantly since 1993"

Lola Ridge
Natali [406]

Answer:

Lola Ridge's life in New York as a working immigrant was a strong influence on her writing.

Explanation:

Based on the biography and the poem, we can see that Ridge's life in New York as a working immigrant heavily influenced her writing, which she became best known for.

She did not begin writing about immigrants because it was interesting. The lives of immigrants were not easy, and their struggle is what inspired Lola Ridge.

She was a well-known author, and the fact she changed her name didn't influence her career.

She didn't become a painter and activist because her writing about people's rights didn't sell. In fact, her writing is what she is best known for.

All of this makes the second statement the correct one.
