Animal and plant cells both are eukaryotic, contain membrane bound organelles such as mitochondria, ribosomes, Golgi complex, endoplasmic reticulum etc.
Plants cells only differ in the presence of cell wall and chloroplasts.
Centrioles are present in all animal cells but only in some lower plant forms. They produce spindle fibers in cell division. In plants, an organelle called the centrosome generates the spindle fibers.
Lysosomes are also solely present in animal cells. They contain hydrolytic enzymes for breaking down various biomolecules.
Cilia are also present in animal cells but not in plants. Cilia serve in locomotion and transport of materials through cells. In the respiratory system, cilia trap pathogenic microbes and particulate matter.
