Answer:

Centrioles

Lysosomes

Cilia

Explanation:

 • Animal and plant cells both are eukaryotic, contain membrane bound organelles such as mitochondria, ribosomes, Golgi complex, endoplasmic reticulum etc.
 • Plants cells only differ in the presence of cell wall and chloroplasts.
 • Centrioles are present in all animal cells but only in some lower plant forms. They produce spindle fibers in cell division. In plants, an organelle called the centrosome generates the spindle fibers.
 • Lysosomes are also solely present in animal cells. They contain hydrolytic enzymes for breaking down various biomolecules.
 • Cilia are also present in animal cells but not in plants. Cilia serve in locomotion and transport of materials through cells. In the respiratory system, cilia trap pathogenic microbes and particulate matter.

Which factor is most responsible for the lack of plants in polar regions?
schepotkina [342]

Low temperature is the most responsible factor for lack of plants in polar regions.

Explanation:

Due to extreme low temperatures in the polar areas, the soil in this area is completely frozen. In this case, the roots of the plants do not grow very deep. Therefore, there is little or no thick vegetation in this region.

The polar climate is a place where the available temperature is usually lower than cold, icy, snowy and does not get direct sunlight. The Polar Regions, also known as frigid areas. These are planet regions that cover the geographical poles (north - Arctic and south - Antarctic) and are located in the polar Circle.

How do hydrogen ions get transferred from the Light Reaction to the Calvin Cycle?
Ira Lisetskai [31]

Answer:

A photon of light hits chlorophyll, causing an electron to be energized.

The free electron travels through the electron transport chain, and the energy of the electron is used to pump hydrogen ions into the thylakoid space, transferring the energy into the electrochemical gradient.

If a gene has 4 exons how many proteins can be made
Anvisha [2.4K]
Before answering the question, you should know that exons/intron systemin the gene exists only in eukaryotes. A gene can have many exons with introns between them, but in RNA maturation, these exons will be joined together to form one RNA to code for one protein (There's no relation between exons number and how many proteins are formed).

In prokaryotes it is different there's no exons/introns, but their gene can be transcripted to a polycistronic RNA which can give after translation more than one proteins.
