What pronouns are mostly used in second person writing

English
1 answer:
ololo11 [35]3 years ago
4 0

Answer: you, your, you're, yours etc.

Explanation: Think of second person as the narrator speaking to you, the reader, and that you're the main character in the story. If it's not a story, it's like a cookbook, "You mix the flour with the butter" or like an instruction manual telling you how to put your new dresser together. I hope this helps!

Write a paragraph that uses the word lash at least three times
zhenek [66]

Answer:

Once upon a time, while on a pirate ship, Captain Hook tried mightily to lash me with his wooden leg for disobeying the rules, but I was too quick for him. Before he could do so, I lashed my left arm across his jaw causing the weakened captain to fall overboard. Later, the crew learned that he had been eaten alive by a shark. Apparently, the lash to his face produced copious amounts of blood that attracted the hungry shark.

2. verb -- (of an animal) move (a part of the body, especially the tail) quickly and violently.

Which principal part of the verb best completes this sentence? Last summer Jesse __________ across Long Island Sound to raise mo
laiz [17]
Jesse SWIM across, Does that sound right? NO! So cancel that word out of the selection and we are left with.. Jesse SWUM across and Jesse SWAM across. I would go with SWUM, because swam sounds more like a present kind of thing, and they are talking about last summer. So He SWUM.

"Temptation is the greed" Help me to write short speech in this topic.
mafiozo [28]

Speeches are about your perspective and point of view. Think about this quote and make a list of points. You could list their definitions first to give you a vision or starting point. What does temptation mean to you? Often, we see that others have something we want, tempting us to want the same; however, we don't always have the means to acquire (purchase) said item. When that is the case, we tend to go ahead with the purchase, maybe be credit card (which will cost more in the end), or pay for it instead of paying our bills thus comes in the greed. We although our greediness to make us irresponsible. Temptation turns to greed thus becoming irresponsible.
