Lets suppose his initial weight was 60 kilograms

A gain of 20%  would make his new eight  60 + 20*60/100

=  60 + 12

= 72 kg

he lost 25% of this:-

= 72 -   25 * 72/100 =  54 kg

This = (54/60) * 100  = 90% of his beginning weight  Answer

Answer: Yes they could.

Step-by-step explanation:

The two pairs of sides given are proportional: 3/7 : 9/21

The two triangles have the side:side ratio, meaning they are similar

Because they are similar, their hypotenuses <em>could</em> lie along the same line, not guaranteed, but possible.

Please help with Algebra
mina [271]

Answer:

C) 6

Step-by-step explanation:

I converted the equation into slope-intercept form and then identified the y-intercept.

4x+2y=12\\\\4x-4x+2y=12-4x\\\\2y=12-4x\\\\\frac{2y=12-4x}{2}\\\\ y=6-2x\\\\y=-2x+6\\\\y=-2x+\boxed{6}

C should be the correct answer.

Hope this helps.

When variables are being raised to a power what operation is performed with the exponents?
Ludmilka [50]

First you raise the expressions in the parentheses to their powers. Then multiply the two expressions together. You get to see multiplying exponents (raising a power to a power) and adding exponents (multiplying same bases).
