F(g(2) means to evaluate the g function for 2 then the result becomes the input for the f function.
g(2)= 5(2) - 6 = 10 - 6 = 4
f(4) = 4^(3/2) = (sqrt(4))^2 = 8
The answer is 8

The volumes of two similar figures are 27 mm^3 and 1331 mm^3. If the surface area of the smaller figure is 18 mm^2, what is the
trasher [3.6K]
Volumes are in ratio 27 : 1331
so ratio od individual lengths  = cube roots  = 3 : 11
and surface areas will be in the ratio  3^2 : 11^2 = 9:121

so surface area of the larger figure  is  121 * 18  / 9  =  242 mm^2

Ben needs to replace two sides of his fence. One side is 367 9/100 meters long, and the other is 329 3/10 meters long. How much
Flura [38]

Answer:

696\frac{39}{100} meters fence

Step-by-step explanation:

Ben needs to replace two sides of his fence.

The length of one side of fence =  367\frac{9}{100} meters

The length of other side of fence = 329\frac{3}{10} meters

to calculate the length of fence that Ben need to buy we will add the length of both sides.

367\frac{9}{100} + 329\frac{3}{10}

= \frac{36709}{100} + \frac{3293}{10}

= \frac{36709+32930}{100}

= \frac{69639}{100}

= 696\frac{39}{100} meters

Ben need to buy  696\frac{39}{100} meters fence.

Dan and Juanita are arguing, again! Dan says the revenue function for the
Gwar [14]

Find

R(V)

  • p(x)×x
  • x(-3/2x+112)
  • -3/2x²+112x

Now

  • y=-3/2x²+112x

Find vertex x coordinate

  • -b/2a
  • -112/-2(-3/2)
  • -37.3

Put in equation

  • y=-3/2(-37.3)²+112(-37.3)
  • y=-2086.9-84+4177.6
  • y=$6264.6
  • y=$62.64M

As a is negative parabola is facing downwards hence vertex is minimum .

So minimum value is $62M which is far more than given .

Uhhhhhh????????????!
mariarad [96]

Answer:

2y + 3 = 4y + 2; y = 1/2

Step-by-step explanation:

to find this equation we can use the ys and the 1s to create an equation

so

in the left side

there are 2 ys and 3 1s

your equation is

2y + 3

on the other side

it is

4 ys and 2 1s

so

4y + 2 is your equation

then yo uset them equal to each other

2y + 3 = 4y + 2

if you must solve

subtract 2y and 2 from both sides

1 = 2y

then divide both sides by 2

y = 1/2 is your answer
