Explanation:

Competition is a limiting factor, which has the the potential to limit, the growth, distribution and abundance of species in an ecosystem or are. Mostly, the competition is between the members of the same species (intraspecific competition) but it can also be among different species (interspecific competition). In a competition the stronger and superior one usually have more chances of obtaining resources like food, shelter, mate or other than the weeker or inferior one.

Three organisms battling over limited resources is an example of competition because three organisms are fighting for the same resources, hence, the stronger one will obtain those resources, in the competition.
