1.

lim x→ 0+ f(x)

you will find the limit is inf

lim x→ 0- f(x)

you will find the limit is - inf

because

lim x→0+ f(x) no equal to lim x→0- f(x)

thus lim x→0 f(x) does not exist

2.

form the graph

lim x→2- f(x) = 6

lim x→2+ f(x)= -2

because

lim x→2- f(x) not equal tolim x→2+ f(x)

thus lim x→2 f(x) does not exist

hope this would help you.

Four students explain how to find the measure of ZRST in this diagram.
TEA [102]

Answer:

To find the angle RST we have to first find SRT As the exterior angle adjoined with SRT =53°

so the SRT = Outer angle adjoined with angle SRT

angle SRT = 53° [°.° vertically opposite angles are equal]

Angle SRT + Angle STR + Angle RST = 180°

=>53° + 75° + Angle RST =180°

=> 128° + Angle RST = 180°

=> Angle RST =(180-128)°

= 52°

SO NO. C IS correct what Cate says is absolutely right

Can someone please help me find find the area of the shaded region for 2 figures please? In the second figure it’s impossible to
Ainat [17]

Answer:

You CAN do it. triangle with the circle. find area of triangle first and subtract circle. (8*8)/2 = 32. minus circle. (2.5*pi^2) = 24.674011. so we have 32 - 24.7 (rounded) = 7.3 for triangle. as for the other? divide it into segments. we have a rectangle on bottom followed by 2 triangles on top of that rectangle. Recangle height is 2 * width. The width is 8 as we can see the top. 2*8= 16. plus the triangles. we know the triangle height is 6 minus the 2 from the rectangle height so 6-2=4 times the width which is the rectangle width minus the 6 from the middle divided by 2 because there are 2 triangles. 8-6=2/2 = 1. height * width = 4 divide by 2 = 2. that is the area of one triangle. but because there are 2 triangles multiply by 2. 2*2 = 4. 16+4=20 for the area of the second figure.
