At the Warren Technology center there is constant use of participative counseling towards workers. The company also is in charge of providing health care, dental plan expenses, food bonuses and money bonuses in short periods of 3-4 months. Workers inside Warren Technology enjoy their work; many paid employees affirm that the supervisors and managers are strict but friendly and they enjoy the presence of other workers. Also, participative counseling is mostly used inside the work place. Many employees that work inside the factory have sometimes family issues, things they would like to get off their chest, unresolved issues, etc. So, imposing inside Warren Technology a healthy and active “participative counseling” area, workers can be more productive, be sane, and mentally stabilized. Many workers at Warren Technology are Latinos and Americans. Both cultures differ a lot in terms of family matters, internal relationships, morals, etc. For example: a typical Latino family matters are “We don’t have enough money”, “There are too many people living inside the household”, “The church we go to make us pay a lot of money just to attend a sermon”, “My son/daughter is out of control, they have become rebellious and we need to give them more discipline”, “My mother/father won’t stop nagging”. American culture problems are usually more different. For example: an American will usually say “My wife and I don’t give each other as much love as we used to”, “The kids are all grown up and out of the house”, “I am so depressed and lonely”, “I need a partner”, etc. By providing competent and experienced personnel the workers feel more lifted in spirit, they enjoy their work more, and are glad they have a free service that can listen to their problems and give solemn positive and professional advice. Managers and supervisors from Warren Technology keep their eyes alert to see if any worker may feel down or may be in need of some emotional type of assistance. Once a manager or supervisor notices a pattern that is continuous they send the worker into participative counseling to help with their problems. While counseling the counselors need to make sure not to get too attached to the workers and employees, they need to maintain a distance so they won’t get emotionally attached to the employees that may come in or out of the office very frequently. A security agreement can sometimes be made in order to keep the workers case a secret, for personal records or sometimes it can be sold with the consent of the worker in order to give it to study labs and research facilities. A development plan is made between managers/supervisors and the staff who work as counselors in order to see what the workers need, how to make the job easier for everyone, and most importantly the way to help workers in the most efficient and effective way possible. Feedback mechanisms are also provided but in order to organize problems, projects, etc. Both employees and counselors need to cooperate together in order to make things fair and easier for everyone working inside Warren Technology. The same I myself would like to follow these same processes and procedures just as Warren Technology provide since they are very effective as well as productive and efficient and all the workers are very joyful and happy to work in this particular environment no matter in what department they are supposed to work in.

Hope this helps you :)

Svetllana [295]

Answer:

Following are the responses to the given question:

Explanation:

I possess good leadership qualities that distinguish me from other potential people. I also strong position in leading groups. In contact I'm fine. I'm nice. I convey my thoughts but also hear everything they have and say quite well in front of others. I am now a logical thinking instructor and make rational and factual decisions. I am supermotard and face a difficult problem while other potential employees may try to avoid problems or challenges and run away from them.

Its business I am employed for is better for me since I could be a great asset for the business which can successfully do any job it could do. For every job or job that my boss provides to me, I'd try my support. I'm timely but good for individuals who are very important to influence and manage. Let us say that I'll be a salesperson so I can influence customers or their selection of purchase by my social skills. I'd use my abilities and close the boss's sales contract.

COST OF PRODUCTION (5 pts each for a total of 25 pts) a. What is the relationship between the marginal cost of production and av
Naily [24]

Answer:

a. When marginal cost is above average cost, average cost is rising; but when marginal cost is below average cost, average cost is falling.

b. The lowest point at which a plant or firm can produce such that the long-run average cost of the plant or firm is at the minimum.

c. The average total cost curve (ATC) U-shaped in the short run because of diminishing returns.

d. The average total cost curve (ATC) is U-shaped in the long run because economies of scale and diseconomies of scale.

e. The shape of the average variable cost curve (AVC) is usually U-shaped or upward-sloping; while the shape of the average fixed cost curve (AFC) is a Rectangular Hyperbola.

Explanation:

a. What is the relationship between the marginal cost of production and average total cost of production?

Marginal cost refers to the change in total cost when extra unit of output is produced, while average cost is the total cost divided by the number of units produced.

The relationship between the two is that when marginal cost is above average cost, average cost is rising; but when marginal cost is below average cost, average cost is falling.

b. What is efficient scale of production?

Efficient scale of production can be described as the lowest point at which a plant or firm can produce such that the long-run average cost of the plant or firm is at the minimum.

c. Why is the average total cost curve (ATC) U-shaped in the short run?

The average total cost curve (ATC) U-shaped in the short run because of diminishing returns.

Diminishing returns occur when the amount of a single factor of production is incrementally increased while holding all other factors of production constant, the marginal output of a production process decreases.

d. Why is the average total cost curve (ATC) U-shaped in the long run?

The average total cost curve (ATC) is U-shaped in the long run because economies of scale and diseconomies of scale.

Economies of scale can be described as a situation whereby increasing output leads to lower long-run average total costs.

But, after a given level of output, scale diseconomies may be encountered by a firm.

Diseconomies of scale can be described as a situation whereby increasing output leads to higher long-run average total costs.

e. What are the shapes of the average variable cost curve (AVC) and the average fixed cost curve (AFC)?

Note: See the attached photo for the curves of the AVC and AFC showing their shapes.

The shape of the average variable cost curve (AVC) is usually U-shaped or upward-sloping.

The shape of the average fixed cost curve (AFC) is a Rectangular Hyperbola. This occurs because the same amount of fixed cost is split by increasing output. Therefore, the AFC curve slopes downwards and is a rectangular hyperbola, meaning that the area under the curve is constant at all places.

In a closed economy, the values for GDP, consumption spending, investment spending, transfer payments, and taxes are as fo
Oliga [24]

Answer: Option (C) is correct.

Explanation:

National Savings is divided into two parts, private savings and public savings.

Private Savings = GDP - Taxes + Transfer payments - Consumption Spending

                         = Y - T + TR - C

                         = 12 - 3 + 2 - 9

                          = $ 2 trillion

Public Savings  = Taxes - Government Spending - Transfer payments

                           = 3 - 0 - 2

                           = $1 trillion

∴ Option (C) is correct.

Private saving = $2 trillion and public saving = $1 trillion.

Compute the payback statistic for Project A if the appropriate cost of capital is 9 percent and the maximum allowable payback pe
-BARSIC- [3]

Answer:

Simple Payback period is 2.52 years.

Discounted Payback period is 2.97 years

Explanation:

Payback period is the number of years that a project takes to recover the project's initial investment.

Simple Payback

Project A

Time:                0            1            2            3             4              5

Cash flow    –$1,500   $550    $630     $620       $400       $200

Payback period = 550/550 + 630/630 + (1500-550-630)/620 = 2.52 years

Payback period = Approximately 2.52 years

In simple term it will take 2.52 years to recover the initial investment.

Discounted payback

Project A

Time:                0            1            2            3             4              5

Cash flow    –$1,500   $550    $630     $620       $400       $200

PV @ 9%      –$1,500   $505    $530     $479       $283        $130

Payback period = 505/505 + 530/530 + (1500-505-530)/479 = 2.97 years

Payback period = Approximately 2.97 years

It will take about 2.97 years to recover the initial investment of $1,500 using discount rate of 9%
