ivan used 5 yards of green for each quilt and 4 yards of blue for each quilt.
I got Y=5 and Im pretty positive that X=13
(3,5)....x1 = 3 and y1 = 5
(1,3)....x2 = 1 and y2 = 3
slope formula : (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)
slope = (3 - 5) / (1 - 3) = -2/-2 = 1 <== slope is 1
On this problem you have to make sure the dot plot and the dots on it match the ones for the problem. It should only have one dot for 1, 4 for 2's, 2 for 4's...etc.
