Avery could use proper citation to refer to other author's job and then to present her opinion or point of view regarding that authors' argument. It always important to acknowledge and give credit so not to end up committing plagiarism. It's important to use APA rules to do correct quotations in essays, papers, articles, etc in an academic and professional manner.
