My experience in human services programs was really stimulating and I learnt a lot about communication assets, which I think is the most important part of the job.

Explanation:

Working in humans services programs needs a certain skills that will help you to perform the job correctly. One of this skills is the ability of apply communication assets correctly, to know what to say in the correct moment.

Also, in order to have a successful activity, it is needed to make an organized planning, to evaluate and coordinate correctly. My experience in this process is that, no matter how much are you prepared, you must have several backup plans, because all people are different, and you don´t know what is going to surprise you in the next program. Always try to be ahead of any problem.

Some strategic plannings that you might need to coordinate such programs are to measure the time you will need for every activity, even approximately, this will help you to have a control over everything.

Also, try to have everything planned for at least three days before, if something unexpected happens, you will be able to fix it at time.
