Explanation:

Glucose is transported by secondary active transport and and facilitated diffusion with the help of SGLT2 cotransporter and sodium potassium active transport pump from the renal tubule.

Glucose carriers cause the reabsorption of glucose from the renal tubule and their concentration increase with the increase of concentration of glucose in blood upto a limit. In both the conditions of Diabetes the glucose concentration in blood became too high that body cannot prevent the glucose to slipping into renal tubule.

So we expect to find glucose in the person’s urine because excess glucose in blood could cause the glucose carriers to reach their maximum level.
