The answer is A.

 An hypothesis <em>is an idea or explanation based on knwon facts that need to</em> <em>be confirmed</em>. The conditionnal  is formed with IF followed by the hypothesis. The conclusion follows the THEN, <em>bringing the results or consequences</em>.<em> If</em> somebody does this [join the gym], <em>then</em> that will happen. [they will have the first three months for free].
