<span>By approaching illegal drug use from a variety of perspectives, communities hope to improve their drug use prevention programs. Each group has its own resources and consequent advantages. By combining their resources, communities and their partners are approaching the problem from all possible angles. This should yield a higher success rate in the reduction and prevention of drug use.</span>

<span>It is beneficial to do so because all of these organizations, schools, the government, and law enforcement, can approach the drug abuse problem from different angles and give their insights into the issue. Later on, they can partner up in order to tacke the issue together, rather than be separated and unable to to anything alone. This way, all of them can have a certain input and solve the problem faster.</span>
