In a business franchise, who develops the product and business systems?

Business

Answer:

It depends on the type of business franchise.

In a business format franchise, the franchise will provide the franchisee all of the necessary things for a product + business system like marketing assistance, machines, supplies, etc... An example of this would be a fast food restaurant or a retail store.

In a product distribution franchise, the work is all up to the franchisee. The franchise will provide the logo and the right to sell its product but leaves the rest of the work to the franchisee. An example of this would be a car dealership or a gas station.

Answer:

1. Hourly Direct Labor Cost rate = Direct Labor cost / Direct Labor hours

Hourly Direct Labor Cost rate = 2,500,000 / 25,000

Hourly Direct Labor Cost rate = $100 per hour

Computation of Indirect cost

Office Rent $320,000

Support staff salaries $1,260,000

Utilities $420,000

Total Indirect Costs $2,000,000

Predetermined indirect cost allocation rate = = Total Estimated indirect cost / Total estimated direct labor cost = 2,000,000 / 2,500,000 = 80% of Direct Cost

2. Direct Labor $25,000 (250 * 100)

Indirect Cost $20,000 (25,000 * 80%)

Total Predicted cost $45,000

3. Predicted cost $45,000

Desired Profit $22,500 (50% of $45,000)

Required Service revenue $67,500

A $200,000 loan amortized over 12 years at an interest rate of 10% per year requires payments of $21,215.85 to completely remove
lesya [120]

Answer:

loan balance after 12 years = $185409.8

Explanation:

Loan principal = $200000

interest = 10% of principal

amount paid yearly = $21215.85

For 1st year

principal for the first year = $200000

required interest to be paid = 10% of 200000 = $20000

amount paid = $21215.85

Loan Balance after first year = (principal for first year) - (amount paid - 10% of principal ) = $198,784.15

For 2nd year

principal for the 2nd year = Loan balance after first year = $198,784.15

loan balance after 2nd year = 198784.15 - ( 21215.85 - 10% of 198784.15)

= $197568.30

same applies for the different years until the 12th year

using this formula :

Loan Balance after Nth year = [ Loan balance after (n-1) year - ( amount paid - 10% of loan balance after (n-1) year ) ]

blagie [28]

Answer: I found the complete question on Google:

By 2017, McDonald's had stopped selling Chicken McNuggets and other products made from chickens fed antibiotics. The change increased McDonald's costs, but an article in the Wall Street Journal noted that "...McDonald's ability to raise its prices is limited because of stiff competition."Source: David Kesmodel, Jacob Bunge, and Annie Gasparro, "McDonald's to Curb Antibiotics in Chicken," Wall Street Journal, March 4, 2015. Does this "stiff competition" mean that the demand curve for McDonald's Chicken McNuggets is horizontal? Briefly explain.

And the correct answer is: "B. No, the demand curve is not horizontal because Chicken McNuggets are not identical to other chicken products.".

According to the value in diversity problem-solving approach A. surface-level diversity is less likely to lead to team cohesion
marshall27 [118]

Answer:

The correct answer is option E (diversity in teams is beneficial because it provides for a larger pool of knowledge from which a team can draw as it carries out its work).

Explanation:

Diversity in an organization/team is broad in its definition as it describes a group of individuals who are from different backgrounds, races, ages, education working for a common goal.

When we talk about surface-level diversity, then we are pointing at those visible differences such as sex, age. While Deep-level diversity is those characters that are not visible such as beliefs, likes, dislikes, temperament.

Diversity in teams is beneficial because team members would have diverse backgrounds, experiences, problem-solving capacities, exposures, bringing diverse solutions to the team which leads to good team performance, and a quick, better solution to problems.
