Answer:1.4 hours

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Distance between Motorcycles is 196 miles

and speed of First motorcyclist is 65 miles per hour

speed of second motor cyclist is 75 miles per hour

Let us suppose First motorcyclist cover x distance in t time

and at same time t second  motorcyclist cover a distance of 196-x

For same time t

\frac{196-x}{75}=\frac{x}{65}

Solving we get

x=91 miles

So time taken t=\frac{91}{65}=1.4 hours

Answer:

1.4 hrs

Step-by-step explanation:

Given ;

The distance to be covered by the motorcycles is 196 miles

1st motorcycle speed= 65 m/h

2nd motorcycle speed= 75 m/h

Find relative speed of the motorcycles= 65+75=140m/h

Time of meeting= Distance to be covered/relative speed

Time of meeting=196/140=1.4 hrs

Bill earns $12 per hour and works at most 40 hours per week. Identify the independent and dependent quantity in the situation, a
mixer [17]
The situation can be modeled as a linear equation:
 y = 12x
 Where
 y: amount of dollars.
 x: hours worked.
 Independent variable: x (hours worked).
 Dependent variable: y (amount of dollars).
 he works at most 40 hours per week
 Domain: x belongs [0, 40]
 To determine the range, we must calculate how much Bill earns per week
 y = 12 * (40) = 480.
 Range: y belongs [0, 480]
 answer
 Independent variable: x (hours worked).

PLZ HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
sweet [91]

Answer:

2 + 3 = 5

5 - 2 = 3

3.4 + 7.1 = 10.5

10.5 - 3.4 = 7.1

7 + 8 = 15

15 - 7 = 8

9/5 + 3/2 = 33/10

33/10 - 3/2 = 9/5
