Ancient Mesopotamia is a region located on the banks of the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers, where one of the earliest civilization developed. The term is taken from the Greek language; 'Meso' means land or between and 'Potomia' rivers. Mesopotamia was a place of different cultures whose connections were their gods and script. Ancient Mesopotamia was an agrarian society where both men and women worked and shared equal rights in society.
