Answer: a. barnacles living on a whale’s skin

Explanation:

Symbiosis is a interaction which occurs between two different species. In this interaction the organisms may get benefit, harm or may not be affected. Barnacles and whales are interconnected by commensalism symbiotic relationship. In this relationship the one species receives the benefit without causing any harm to other.

Barnacles feed by attaching themselves to the back of the whales where they eat the microorganisms and the whale remains unaffected.

mars1129 [50]
The two properties that a human and a spider would exhibit is that both of them are composed of eukaryotic cells and the exhibit sexual reproduction. Eukaryotic cells are cells with membrane bound organelles such as the nucleus which contains the genetic material enclosed by a nuclear membrane. Sexual reproduction is a type of reproduction where livings give rise to new off springs by combining genetic material from two individuals of different sexes.

The growth of a population of sparrows accelerates with each generation. the chances of dying are about the same for these sparr
Paladinen [302]

Answer:

Exponential growth and a type II survivorship curve

Explanation:

 • Firstly we need to understand what exponential growth is, it is the type of growth in which population of any specie increases at a tremendous rate, constantly. In this type of growth, the increase is an exponential function of time for example, 2 reproduce to form form, four to sixteen and so on.

Population survivorship curves are simply the graphs representing increase in population with respect to time. There are three types of population survivor ship curve, Type I, Type II and Type III.

 • In Type II survivorship curve, there is a constant dying rate of individuals of population with respect to time.

Now lets come back towards question, where two characteristics of the population are mentioned,

 1. Exponential growth of a population of sparrows with each generation.
 2. Constant dying rate

This clarifies that Exponential growth and a type II survivorship curve is the best option representing the said scenario.
