Answer:

Sound waves travelling through the air: Sound waves travelling through air are just like longitudinal waves lacking compressions and rarefactions. The speed of sound waves in air is approximately 332 metres per second.

Light waves travelling through air: Light waves travel in air at a much faster rate than sound waves. Light waves can travel with a speed of 300 000 kilometres per second through air.

Sound waves traveling through metal: Sound waves travel about 17 times faster in metal as compared to air. The sound waves travel with an approximate speed of 5,960 meters per second in metals.

Light waves travelling through metal: The speed of light waves in a metal medium is usually at a net speed which is less than 3.00 x 108 m/s.

Light travels faster than sound waves because light waves are not pressure waves like the sound waves. They also do not require a medium as the sound waves.

A flowering yucca plant and a yucca moth have a relationship. The adult female moth lays eggs in the plant, and the young moths
Ann [662]
I would assume that it would be Pollination because the yucca moth pollinates the yucca plant as it goes around flying to different ones before they lay their eggs. I did some research on it and went to a few websites to look it up and most of them said the same thing.

Give the nuclide symbol for an atom that has<br> mass number 64 and 35 neutrons.
azamat
The mass number represents the summation of the number of protons and the number of neutrons in the nucleus of an atom.
We are given that the mass number is 64 and that the number of neutrons is 35. Therefore:
number of protons = 64 - 35 = 29 protons

In ground state, number of protons in an atom is equal to the number of electrons. Therefore,
number of electrons = 29 electron

Using the periodic table, we will find that the element that has 29 electrons in ground state is copper.
The nuclide symbol of copper is shown in the attached image.

The active ingredient in aspirin is acetylsalicylic acid (MW = 180.2 g/mol). An aspirin tablet was dissolved in
Mashcka [7]

Answer:

1214 mg

Explanation:

Data given

Volume of NaOH solution (V) = 14.85 mL

Molarity of NaOH solution (M) = 0.100 M NaOH.

Amount of acetylsalicylic acid = ?

Molecular weight = 180.2 g/mol

Solution:

It is a acid base titration

As equal amount of NaOH will neutralize equal amount of acetylsalicylic acid.

First find the moles of NaOH

As we know

                 M = moles of solute / 1 L x volume of solution

Rearrange and modify the above equation

moles of NaOH = M of NaOH x 1 L / volume of NaOH solution

Put values in above equation

                moles of NaOH = 0.100 M x 1 L / 14.85 mL

moles of NaOH = 0.0067 moles

Now find to find the weight of acetylsalicylic acid

As

equal amount of NaOH will neutralize equal amount of acetylsalicylic acid.

moles of acetylsalicylic acid =  moles of NaOH.......... (1)

As we know

no. of moles = mass in g / molar mass

So,

The modified form of equation 1 will be

mass in g / molar mass (acetylsalicylic acid) =  moles of NaOH

Put values in above equation

                  mass in g / 180.2 g/mol = 0.0067 moles

Rearrange the above equation

                mass of acetylsalicylic acid = 0.0067 moles x 180.2 g/mol

                 mass of acetylsalicylic acid = 1.214 g

Convert the grams to milligrams

1 g = 1000 milligram

So,

1.214 g = 1214 mg
