Sometimes talking about a person who is plain is good to make sure the physical attributes are known. Then the main character of the opposite sex will have to look deeper to find something worth being attracted to. But of those things listed A is probably the least important unless you need to establish that she is not hideous in some way.

The cruise ship ________ at the last port of call before I finished packing.
Ad libitum [116K]

Future perfect tense can be used to look back at an event or occurrence from a time in the future or to make a prediction. The correct perfect tense to be used in this sentence is;

 • Will have arrived

The future perfect tense can be used to fill up the blank space here. The sentence can thus be rendered thus;

The cruise ship will have arrived at the last port of call before I finished packing.

This indicates that the ship will be at the port before the narrator finished packing. It is like a prediction of something that will happen in the future.

Therefore, option D is correct.

What are the differences between movie acting & stage acting? In your opinion, which is more difficult and why?
Andrei [34K]
In movie acting you can have second chances if you mess up while filming but when your on stage with a full audience if you mess up everyone can see. In my opinion stage acting will be more difficult because you can’t re and act it when there’s an audience.
