Answer:

A narrative is a writing that tells a story. Narratives can have characters, a point of view, and a setting. The stories can be fiction or nonfiction. An example would be the Harry Potter series. It's a set of  books that all relate the story of Harry's education as a wizard at Hogwarts, and his fight against the evil Voldemort.
