Hree you have a small ( the clear triangle) inside  a large one.
Area = shaded part = area of large triangle - area of the small clear triangle.

Area of a triangle = 1/2 * base * height
so we have area shaded part = 1/2 * 6 * 9 - 1/2 * 2 * 3
=  27 - 3  = 24 yd^2  Answer

Consider random samples of size 50 from a population with proportion 0.15
WITCHER [35]

Answer:

a) Mean = 0.75

b) Standard error = 0.051

c) Yes

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given the following in the question:

Sample size, n = 50

Sample proportion , p = 0.15

a) Mean

\mu = np = 50(0.15) = 7.5

b) Standard error

S.E = \sqrt{\dfrac{p(1-p)}{n}} = \sqrt{\dfrac{0.15(1-0.15)}{50}} = 0.051

c) Application of central limit theorem

Since the sample size is larger than 30, we cam apply central limit theorem for normal approximation.

Which graph represents the piecewise-defined function f(x) = StartLayout enlarged left-brace 1st Row 1st column negative 1.5 x +
PilotLPTM [1.2K]

Answer:

  • Option A or first option

Step-by-step explanation:

The function is

f(x) = \left \{ {{-1.5x + 3.5, x

Correct description is the first option with the exception of point (2,0), it should read (2, 0.5)

  • On a coordinate plane, a piecewise function has 2 lines. The first line has an open circle at (2, 0) and then goes up through (1, 2) with an arrow instead of an endpoint. The second line has a closed circle at (2, 6) and goes up through (3, 7) with an arrow instead of an endpoint.

The graph is attached
