Answer:

The major port located at the mouth of the Yangzi River is the Port of Shanghai.

Explanation:

The Port of Shanghai is both a deep-water port - through the Yangshan Port - and a river port. It is located in the immediate vicinity of Hangzhou Bay between the East China Sea and the Yangzi Jiang, Huangpu and Qiantang Rivers.

Since 2005, it is the largest port in the world by tonnage. In 2010, container traffic reached 29.05 million TEUs, according to the municipal government.

The Port of Shanghai has been operated by the Shanghai International Port Group since 2003. It belongs to the index SSE 50, the stock index of 50 major Chinese companies on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

Afina-wow [57]

Answer:

Abigail cries when she steps on a sharp pebble.

Explanation:

This is a direct consequence. Abigail stepped on a sharp pebble, making her hurt her foot. The pain is most likely what triggered this reaction of crying. This option doesn't reveal anything about learned behavior or new knowledge. It just describes the consequence of an act.

The North Korean government prevents individuals from setting up businesses in the country what effect does this have on the eco
Bond [772]

The North Korean economy is based largely around self-sustainability. Everything is owned by the government, everything is planned by the government. How much, in which way, in what will be produced and consumed is planned by the government. This results in a very fragile economy above which always lurks the possibility of crack down. The slightest mistakes in the planning, or if some natural disaster occurs, always leads to huge economic problems. It is very common that the people are suffering from malnutrition because the planning didn't turned out as predicted. The economy has growth one year, stagnates another, drops in the next, and it is all very unpredictable.

How did the twenty-sixth amendment address concerns about age discrimination?
Morgarella [4.7K]

I believe the answer is: It lowered the voting age to 18.

The 26th amendment was created in 1971. Prior to this year, the majority of the 18 years old are either already working in some ways or being drafted to join a war. Since they have to carry a lot of burden, it is only fair if they also could give their vote to appoint the government officials that can represent them.
