Answer:

The events in The Impeachment of President Bill Clinton presented in chronological order are:

-The House debates the charges and evidence

-The House accuses the President of perjury and obstruction of justice

-The House holds hearings on the charges.

-The House votes to impeach President Clinton on both charges.

-The Chief Justice presides over the Senate trial

-The Senate debates the charges and evidence

-The Senate acquits the President on both charges.

Explanation:

The impeachment of Bill Clinton was initiated on October 8, 1998, when the US House of Representatives voted to commenc impeachment proceedings against Bill Clinton, for lying under oath and perjury.

The charges were a result of a lawsuit filed against Clinton by Paula Jones and from Clinton's testimony denying that he had engaged in an improper relationship with intern Monica Lewinsky.

On October 8, the House authorized a wide-ranging impeachment inquiry and on December 19, after nearly 14 hours of debate, the House approved two articles of impeachment, charging President Clinton with lying under oath to a federal grand jury and obstructing justice.

Five weeks later, on February 12, the Senate voted on whether to remove Clinton from office. Clinton was acquitted on both articles of impeachment.

In america's version of federalism, power is shared ____
Artemon [7]
The answer is B. The only explanation I can give is that A and C are wrong because the legislative, judicial, and executive branches all share power. As far as D goes, the states' own laws don't really affect each other so there is no need for the power to be shared among them. Anything outside of the state becomes federal.

The Virginia and New Jersey Plans introduced at the Constitutional Convention differed mainly over whether Select one: a. there
REY [17]

Option B is the right answer, that the Virginia and New Jersey Plans differed mainly over whether States should send an equal number of representatives to Congress.

The Virginia Plan was a proposal by the representatives of Virginia for Bicameral Legislative Branch. This plan is significant for its performance in establishing the stage for the convention and, in particular, for the formulation of the idea of representation as according to the population. Whereas the New Jersey Plan of June 1787, was an acknowledgement to the Virginia Plan, since the Virginia plan called for Bicameral in Congress and the supporters of the New Jersey plan demanded the Unicameral arrangement from the article of Confederation.

Although the New Jersey Plan was refused as a basis for the new Constitution, yet some elements were taken from it. Therefore the Virginia plan was adopted in the formation of the new constitution. And the most extensive use of these plans was used by the Connecticut Compromise ( which in part set the legislative structure and representation that each state would have), that placed a Bicameral authority by the House of Representatives of the United States, elected by the American people, and that the Senate provided equality of votes to each state as the New Jersey Plan requested.
